The participatory budget of the Municipality of Massa,  “Partecipa in Massa”, has been organized with the support of the Tuscany Regional Authority for Participation to collect information and set priorities on the part of citizens on how to invest 2 million euros.  This was done by an extended Town Meeting running for several months and involving more than 200 citizens in the drafting of proposals and all the citizens in the selection of the projects. The projects concerned the environment, infrastructures, territorial governance, social policies, inclusion, recovery of abandoned areas, alternate economy, inter-culture, lifestyle, sports, socio-cultural and artistic activities, youth policies. The process was planned and facilitated by the FUTOUR team over numerous meetings and constant media coverage by radio and television programs.
