Facilitate constructive dialogues between stakeholders regarding water infrastructure to overcome divisions and find consensus on essential solutions against climate change
FUTOUR facilitated two intensive Public Debates involving over 15 meetings and 450 stakeholders. In Vallo di Diano, in Campania, we managed flood control needs; in the Vanoi Valley, we bridged the gap between agricultural water security and environmental protection. Our approach: foster transparent confrontation in high-tension contexts. We acted as a neutral bridge between contracting authorities, designers, and local communities. Leveraging digital outreach and territorial animation, we ensured every voice - from farmers to environmentalists - was heard, transforming a battlefield of opinions into a structured and manageable decision-making process.
Our moderation transformed tension into structured results. By meticulously collecting and analyzing feedback, we provided a clear decision-making path for the authorities. In Vallo di Diano, the debate led to a project optimized for the construction of a single dam. In the Vanoi Valley, our process allowed the authorities to stop the project, respecting the community’s environmental concerns. We provided the clarity needed to finalize decisions, transforming a complex conflict into a transparent, concrete, and shared result.
